The hours are seriously bad now...tried phoning my local health centre at 6.30 on Friday evening mistakenly thinking that the evening surgery still existed when my stomach was hurting very badly...it's closed until Monday!! I think that is damned disgraceful...I have to wait several days to get an appointment now with my doctor, and, in the meantime, I'm forced to go the emergency department of my local hospital if anything serious happens in between.

actually I agree
We did some tests for my son a few weeks ago. We have been calling for ages to get the answers, they seem not to be working between 9 and 5, and then take the rest off-

Times really have changed so much...used to just call in at the docs on the day you were ill and sit in the waiting room until he got round to seeing you...it worked...wasn't ill half as much as I am now...and he came to see you when you were too ill to get out of bed on the same day!!! Now, they're paid a bloody fortune and, as far as I can make out, have a life of Riley...hmmm...my doc's very nice, but he doesn't do enough work now that's for sure...big hugs..
