Have You Tried England?

Trying to settle in England with a family? Welcome to a new civilisation, a new (or very old in fact) ways of doing things, and lots of frustration. Yet, it's all worth it in the end, if you ever reach the end and especially if you can afford it, because if you thought you knew what expensive meant, you have not tried London yet. This blog is my personal experience settling here, and I hope you, the new settler, will find at least some of it interesting if not useful.

Beautiful London Spring Day

I don’t know what do you do when you wake up on Sunday morning and discover that the weather is absolutely gorgeous? We decided to take the family and go outdoors to build dens.

Took about an hour of construction

Not so impressive from the outside, but after all, isn’t this the essence of a den?

But really causy inside

  oh, it was. We had a nice lunch there. Naturally, we didn't test its weather proofing, but it was mainly for the kids

      oh I see ..I grew up still built them with the kids I took care of over years but not now. I have a four year old friend who has a very posh den /house that I get invited in to if I am good girl

It looks great fun - in my small garden, the best I can achieve is a den for hedgehogs.
