Six months ago I moved a house, I transferred my telephone line, my internet connection, all with BT. Although I did go through lots of pain, initially, all services are now working well at my new address. But I dont understand why BT keeps sending my bills to the old address. Dont they know where I live?

and not long ago, I got a letter to the correct address from one of the banks, telling me they could not finalise a transaction because they did not have my address.

So they know where I live, as they came and install the new line when I informed them the change of address. But as soon as they have visited they erased all memory where the line is going?

Data Protection Act. They can't tell themselves where you live. You have to write to them with your new address.
