The Prime Minister said the campaign in Afghanistan was a "patriotic duty" to keep the streets of Britain safe from the threat of terrorist attack.
And I say, can someone give him a map?

I think that once he is out, Our beloved Brown can become a motivation Guru starting a Self Delude yoursef to Success seminars
He would have plenty attend his seminars, I'm sure!
A much more 'humorous' justification for the German presence in Hindukush is a statement of a German foreign minister: "Deutschland wird am Hindukusch verteidigt"", that translates with 'We are defending Germany in Hindukush'. ![]()
Have you seen Gallipoli ? The movie I mean
No, I haven't seen the movie (I googled for it and I see it was made before I was born), but I have learned about Gallipoli, the Mule Corps , and the "Never mind, it is good to die for one's country" saying by Joseph Trumpeldor... ![]()
as I can't change your date of birth, the only other option for you is to rent the movie.
So many movies, so little time!
What exactly is worth seeing in that movie?
Australian fighting in Turkey to defend England.
Besides, it is a war masterpiece
'Australian fighting in Turkey to defend England' sounds similar to 'Germans fighting in Hindukush to defend'... erm... what actually?
If you say the film is a 'war masterpiece' I might put it on my 'to do' list, suppose there ís some intelligent fun in it too, because... as a girl I am not so keen to watch pure fighting for whatever 'peace'/'right cause'/'wrong cause', all full of plain killing and no brains...
No intelligence. It's merely the naked beauties playing beach volleyball in the battlefield that make it into a masterpiece ![]()
beware of the afghan mules. The afghans are planning to unleash their mules on Britain so that they can eat up all the grass. )(My explanation is more logical than Gordon brown about why Britain should keep fighting in afghan)
This may be the solution to our poor public transportation
now, Saf, Afghan mules eating all the grass in Britain would be a strong competition for the lawn-mower industry...
Some people can't read maps. He is obviously one of them.
it's good that he is a peace time leader
